Escaping The Rock (Mini) (Cont.)

"She says.. We're nearing trouble." Rin muttered, his voice shaken, his tone low. "She?" Inquired Olivia, as she turned to see Rin stood still, his eyes shut, but, to him the tree displayed the most peculiar of faces, that extended outward to his left ear, a sandpaper like tongue caressing the lobe as it whisper to him, it's sound interrupted by a growled command, "Let's keep moving." And Rin's eyes jerked open, as he nod, and prepared his pistol keeping it below his waist, but controlled with both hands, and his gaze more vigilant, as they began to quicken their pace from the depths of this wooded haven, into a hellish pit of orange, that forced an alteration of the moon itself to a blood red. And at the opposite end of the clearing, above a haze of orange dust, they could see him.

The man standing towered above a woman, extended arms covered in aged, warn, and jagged stitching, like a rag doll of flesh, with grubby, dirt caked fingers that grasped around the brunette who currently bobbed herself back and forth, sucking, and slurping from around his cock. "Step back, my pet." His voice said, in a cruel fashion, and she immediately pulled herself away from him, and then kneel beside him at his right, leaving the horrid depiction. The brainless sex toy, missing half a portion of flesh from her face, to exposed rot and bone, where maggots crawled up to greet their guests, while the good doctor tugged up and buttoned his pants with his left hand, while lighting the brighter orange embers of the cherry at the end of his lips with his right. Then, he rub his fingers against the scar line of a deep hole in his chest, his fingers sunk in, seeping with a blue blood as he moan. "Mmm. Good evening, Shelby." And with his hello, he raise his left hand, digits dripping with his blood, and the dirt beneath their toes gave a subtle vibration, that moved outward toward the middle of the clearing, before figures began to burst from the ground, their bodies no better enveloped in flesh, than that of his sex toy, then, his arms held out in a peaceful sentiment. "I cannot allow you to simply have her.. But.. I won't personally impede your progress either. So, for old
times sake, let us play a game, shall we?" The man questioned, flicking embers to the edge of his pets ear, while his hand rested above her head like a leaning post.

Rin lifted and steadied the pistol, but was interrupted by the feeling of a forearm pushing him back, so he lower his gun, and bow his head with respect to his brother, and Shelby struck his sword against the dirt, but strangely left it buried as he pass it, lifting the hood from the end of his leather jacket above his head, shielding his face in a veil of darkness, where the eyes peer out and the glow slowly swirled from its oceanic mix to a radiant crimson. And the growl that unsettled Olivia earlier, now brought her to shake, with the hastening of her own heart, as it erupt from the pit of his stomach, and filled the air. All the while Shelby trod forward into the hordes of monsters, that surround him in waves, and then cover him, until he disappeared beneath the sight of rotted yellow bone. For a moment, Olivia struggled against the restraint of Rin and Bob holding her back, being lost to the silence as Shelby was buried beneath re-animated skeletons she had seen begin to rip into his flesh. "Rah!" This powerful roar emitted with such ferocity it created a visibly perceptive distortion, as
skeletons flung in all different directions smashing to pieces, and Shelby jerked from bent knee, charging toward the next wave, his hands grasping around one of the skeletons, and using it as an offensive shield, bashing the others to bits, while breaking fragments away of the skeleton held in his hands, then he smashed the remnants of the last skeleton against the ground, with a twist churning it to dust, then baring the mans name to the open universe, his voice escaped through the growl, not as one, but the mixture of several. "Faust!" Faust attempted to hurry back, taking a few steps, and yanking at a chain around his dolls neck, dragging her along with him, then he stopped, staring at the claws like steel breaking through the dead flesh so forcefully it left not a trace of blood over them, "Mm.. The big bad wolf lives?"

Faust asked, and then, was answered by the claws pulling apart, ripping the brainless doll in half, then Shelby raised in above Faust. And Faust found himself staring into a vision of death, white teeth, not as much like the wolf, but that of a shark, dripping with blood where they had once sunk into their own gums, and a violent growl that rose bumps along Faust's neck, turning knots, and raising bumps along his spine, freezing him stiff like a coward. "Mercy, dark one?" Faust requested, his head lowering in some faux respect, and again the mixture of voices replied from beneath the hood, giving Shelby's reply. "Run, now. I'm giving you a head start." Then Faust's eyes widened, watching as
he began to strip away the leather top, the hood coming away to show skin tearing away from beneath the eyes, and around the nose and mouth and the body, showing black veins pumping beneath the pale flesh. Then Shelby's bones distorted, cracked, and crippled, and the body seemed to peel away, giving in to what came up from beneath it, leaving Olivia with the perspective of watching the leather fall ground ward, beside a pile of flesh, while Faust haste away, leaving a dim blur, then an eight foot hell hound, chewed up its own bodily remains, before stalking behind, leaving Olivia, Rin, and Bob sign of life through it's occasional stop to howl.

After some time, the others found themselves wandering beyond the clearing, into a new ground of woodlands, forsaken by layers of ice, and it had drawn so silent, they could hear cracking of the near crystal like serenity surrounding them. The closer they came to each of the remnant sounds of the hunter, the more scattered bits of bones, and flesh they found tainting this beautiful land of white heaven. Suddenly, they could see Faust barreling toward the right, and Rin fix his glasses along his nose, then raise his pistol, waiting until he could gather some clear sight on Faust, when the wolf came down from the trees above them in a rain of shattering ice, and crushed down upon Faust, forcing his body to embed into the element soaked stone, into a puddle of his own blue blood, and Faust let out a curdling scream, before Shelby tore viciously into his throat, and began ripping away the meat bit by bit, in an angered frenzy, until the head remained, but the rest was rend in bits of scattered, torn, and mangled chunks. Panting, his rage spent, the wolf collapsed against the bed of snow, it's legs spasm, back arching, and it gave off a few very pain-filled whimpers before it slowly close its eyes, and fingers dug outward from inside the beast's stomach, until they tore through then pulled apart creating an opening, and Shelby climbed out from its stomach gasping, and then shivering. Olivia stare almost hypnotically at Shelby as his teeth chatter and he caress his palms against himself in an effort to warm himself while smearing in the wolf's black blood over his flesh.

"Help Bob." Olivia's attention was caught by Rin's order, and turned to see Bob trying to gather together useful tinder, while Rin removed his bag, taking a cloth in some effort to wipe off as much of the blood from Shelby's shaken body as possible before helping him to get dressed again. And later, when they sat gathered around the burning pit, Shelby's head reel back, and he sniffed in his nostrils drawing to a near close as he engulf the surrounding air, then his chest relax, and he mutter quietly. "Hello, Tarn." - "Ever the late messenger. It appears as though, I've missed the fun." Olivia jerked away between hearing Tarn's calm cold voice, and his thud against the ground that landed him against his right knee, while he picked up Faust's head, and manipulated it like a puppet at the ends of his fingers. "Please, put me on your shelf with the others, I would be most happy there." Tarn mocked, and answered himself as well. "Don't mind if I do, good sir! You would look quite handsome on the third row, after all!" Then Olivia squirmed near to the point of retching when Tarn removed his fingers, and the mouth stretched out, then popped back in a snapping motion, and Faust's voice growled out, "You Vampiric prick!" - "He's.. still alive!? What the hell is going on!?" Olivia panic. Her answer in the scream, "No, you bastard!" Before Faust's voice was muffled as his head was shoved and zipped into a pack surrounded by thick shrouding. "Ode to the rarity of shit staying dead around here. It makes for a tasteful art display though." Tarn said, catching a soft chuckle from the still cold Shelby.

Tarn stepped forward, squatting to his knees between Bob, and Shelby. Then, he peer out at each of their faces, paying special attention to Olivia who continued to pad away in some phobic mannerism. Then, he gave a soft nod. "If you still insist on protecting the human, I suppose, I will stand with you, until you reach the wall, understanding of course, that I not enter Sebastian's dominion." - "Sebastian's dominion?" Olivia questioned, her body coming more at ease, as she did, and Shelby mutter, "Our father. With any hope, we will avoid seeing him at all."
